Made from 140# Cold Press watercolor paper, these cards are perfect for creating stunning watercolor art. Please note that, as with any watercolor paper under 300#, it is recommended that you tape the paper to a hard surface around the edges before wetting it. This will keep the paper from warping or buckling. Using a tape that is easily removable is recommended. Let the paper dry before removing tape and peel it back very carefully.
What is the difference between Cold press, Rough and Hot press watercolor paper?
Most watercolor artists tend to use Rough or Cold Press watercolor paper, because they are absorbent and have a nice ridged/textured look and feel. The Rough Press will be more textured than the Cold Press. Other artists like the smooth quality of the Hot Press watercolor papers.
